Carly began piano lessons at age seven and studied through grade school, middle school, and high school, eventually majoring in music at Whitworth University and earning her master's degree at Eastern Washington University. She holds a BA in Music, emphasis in Piano Pedagogy, from Whitworth University, where she studied with Dr. Judith Sc

Carly began piano lessons at age seven and studied through grade school, middle school, and high school, eventually majoring in music at Whitworth University and earning her master's degree at Eastern Washington University. She holds a BA in Music, emphasis in Piano Pedagogy, from Whitworth University, where she studied with Dr. Judith Schoepflin; and a MM in Piano Performance from Eastern Washington University, where she studied with Dr. Jody Graves and Scott Rednour. Carly is also a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music in piano through MTNA.

Carly taught her first piano lesson at age 14 and decided in high school that she wanted to pursue a career teaching music to children. In college, her vision for education blossomed and she now teaches students of all ages, both privately and in the classroom. Carly has taught preschoolers, seniors, and everyone in between and currently

In college, her vision for education blossomed and she now teaches students of all ages, both privately and in the classroom. Carly has taught preschoolers, seniors, and everyone in between and currently teaches at Whitworth University in addition to running her own studio.

An active performer in the greater Spokane area, Carly has experience performing in a variety of collaborative contexts, including choir rehearsals and concerts, solo and ensemble, recitals, festivals, church services, worship teams, and more. She currently plays for Spokane Area Youth Choirs and recently collaborated with multiple studen

An active performer in the greater Spokane area, Carly has experience performing in a variety of collaborative contexts, including choir rehearsals and concerts, solo and ensemble, recitals, festivals, church services, worship teams, and more. She currently plays for Spokane Area Youth Choirs and recently collaborated with multiple student performers at MusicFest Northwest. In grad school, she performed with multiple chamber groups, including a piano duo, trio, and quartet. Carly loves making music with others and cherishes every opportunity to collaborate.
